The Actions of Prophet (Peace be upon him) are Actions of Allah
The Holy Prophet ordered the Muslims to emigrate to Madina after realizing that they could not suffer the atrocities of the disbelievers any longer. So did the Muslims. But the disbelievers who could not tolerate having noted that the emigrated Muslims were getting on harmoniously with the Madina residents and that the Islam was flourishing day by day, decided that killing the Prophet who brought this religion was the only way for their conquer.
Allah the Almighty informs our beloved Prophet about their conspiracy and grants him too the permission to emigrate to Madina. The disbelievers who surrounded the house where the Prophet Sallallaahu Alaih Wasallam was staying and were waiting for the right time
The Prophet (peace Be Upon Him) made Ali (Karramalaahu Wajhahu) to lie in the place where he (Sallallaahu Alaih wasallam) was sleeping and left the house saying ‘Sleep with peace! No harm would touch you! As you wake up in the morning, Hand over the things that I entrusted with you to all those they belong to and come to Madeena
As he left the house, he took a handful sand and threw it t the enemies surrounding the house. It falls on the heads and the eyes of the enemies and they lost their sight. Their sight returned to normal as Sallallaahu Alaih wasallam moved from the place.
Allah reveals a verse with regard to this incident and he says:
وَمَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ رَمَى
(Threw not when you did throw But Allah threw. 8/17)
The Almighty Allah has exposed the greatness of Sallallaahu Alaih Wasallam by calling the Prophet’s action of throwing sand at the enemies who were waiting outside the house with stretched swords and making them blind as his own action.?
O’ those who say our Beloved Prophet is an ordinary person like you and me! Let this be another food for thought for you.
